RESILIENCE IN PRACTICE

Research shows that regular mindfulness practice changes the structure of brain areas responsible for stress regulation and decision-making. When we train attention, we train resilience. In this workshop, we will explore simple practices that help us shift from our (always thinking) minds to our (always present) bodies, notice our sensations and emotions, and reconnect with our breath. These practical tools will help us navigate uncertainty with greater clarity and balance, even on the busiest days. We will also touch on restoring hope, which is, according to neuroscience, a key driver of resilience and creative problem-solving.
