HOW TO SUBMIT A FILM / A GAME

If you wish to participate, fill in our submission form online by the end of this year.

As usual, you can choose from the following competition categories.

International competition:

• Feature Film

• Short Film

• Student Film

• Abstract and Non-narrative Animation

• Music Video

• VR Film

• Computer Game

Czech Horizon (national competition):

• Short and Feature Film

• Student Film

• Series

• Music Video

• Commissioned Work

We welcome submissions of works completed or premiered after 1 January 2024, provided they haven’t previously competed at Anifilm. The submission is free of charge.

The deadline is December 31st 2024.

The 24th edition of Anifilm will take place in Liberec, Czech Republic, 6 - 11 May, 2025 and will bring the best independent and auteur animation and games. You should know that Anifilm is an OSCAR® qualifying festival for the category of short animated films.

You can submit your film or game through a form that will open when you click on ‘SUBMIT A FILM’. You will be required to sign up. If you have submitted your work to Anifilm in the past, you already have a username and a password. If not, you will have to register first.
