Two thieves are reluctant to steal but their evil boss doesn’t want to hear it. So the two clumsy burglars, who would much rather go dancing somewhere, have to break into an abandoned house. Once inside, they stumble across a gramophone and release a bunch of ghosts from it. This musical slapstick was made by three students of the Tomáš Baťa University in Zlín as their graduate film.

The director of this fresh and pleasantly playful film animated on various surfaces set herself a single goal: the film’s scenes should reflect the poorly set up Asian education system. Students want to get to university at all costs, without even thinking about what they will do afterwards.

This playful film is the director’s graduation film from the French school La Poudrière. To continue on their journey, the passengers will have to join forces. The film is characterised by likeable naïve drawings and many subtle gags.
