In our Game Zone, you can play 15 indie games competing at this year’s Anifilm. You can also meet Czech video game developers such as Warhorse known for their historical RPG Kingdom Come, and Hangar 13, authors of the Mafia remake. From our lecture programme (located at Library), we can recommend the presentation of Happy Game by Jaromír Plachý from Amanita Desing and the panel on environments in video games with five prominent game developers and artists.

Someday You’ll Return takes place in beautiful scenic areas of the Czech Republic. While they are not exact duplicates, CBE Software designers desired to capture the atmosphere of Bohemian nature. The game is a semi-open world with very clear landmarks so the players can always orientate themselves. The developers also implemented the famous Czech tourist navigation system dating back to the end of the 19th century.
