Submit your films to the 5th edition of pitching for the Czech Horizon Grant Supported by the PPF Foundation!

From 5 October 2026 you have a chance to submit your animation projects with a planned running time of up to 60 minutes to the Czech Horizon Grant competition Supported by the PPF Foundation.

The value of the grant is CZK 1,000,000. The goal is to maximally support the creation of Czech professional short animated films to allow outstanding Czech creators of animated films to continue making animated films also after graduating from university. So if you are looking for financial support for preproduction or production of your film and it’s not a student project, you can apply until 31 December 2026

The short-listed projects will be then presented by their creators before a professional jury at a pitching session at the Anifilm IFAF on 5 May 2027 in Liberec. The results of the competition will be announced the same day.

The projects must be completed within 3 years after the support is granted. Films that have already been presented at the pitching session more than twice cannot apply again.
