Vojta Haken Will Create the Anifilm 2027 Visual Identity
7. 10. 2026
The visual identity for Anifilm 2027 is being created by Vojta Haken, a young Czech artist, director and animator. His quirky films are characterised by an original approach to the topics, storytelling and visual style. You can check out some of his films on the Aniont platform (The Patron’s Body, How to Assemble a Table, Guys Have a Problem, Their Shovel Got Stuck in the Sand). He created these films, including his most recent film, BBQ at the Sutnar Faculty in Plzeň. Now he is continuing his animation studies at Prague’s UMPRUM. You can admire his equally fresh independent artwork at the LUSTR festival right now or here,
Haken commented on the Anifilm visual style: ‘I was planning the visual identityat the start of my trip to Central Asia. I was sitting with a friend under a tree in Fikret Amirov Park in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. We were having a snack and getting ready to head to the Alat Ferry Terminal, where cargo ships depart for Kazakhstan. And then, something happened, something that, a few months later, would become the central motif of the Anifilm 2027 visual identity.’
