Book release: Slovíčka (Little Words) / M. Procházková

Dear children and all other curious people! Have you ever been unable to understand a sentence even if it was in your own language, only because it had a difficult and unfamiliar word in it? Are there words whose meaning you can guess but aren’t completely sure of? You’ll find some of them in this book. It isn’t a dictionary, not is it a textbook. It’s Vojta talking with his sister Anička. Vojta tries to explain to his sister what the word mean, and Anička asks a lot of question and sometimes even provokes her brother a bit – but only a little, because they are siblings and love each other. Vojta ends up telling us a lot.

Each chapter has three difficult questions or assignments that will help you to remember understand the word. At the end of the book, you’ll find answers to the questions from the various chapters.

The book comes with a DVD containing all the episodes from the animated series Little Words – one episode for each chapter.
