The swimming pool is closed and empty until two loners decide to have a swim. The director, who still finds success at festivals with her animated films, has prepared an unexpected punch line.

An Alien

The film follows the tradition of proven grotesque stories with moral lessons. Our hero sets out to a foreign country where he has trouble making himself understood and finding the way. But when he returns home, he does not seem to have learned a lesson. The director skilfully uses sounds instead of dialogues and deals with the graphic style of the background and movement in space in an interesting way.

Brumlik and Animuk

Short animated film inspired by the life of the Greenland Inuit. The main characters are polar bear Brumlik and his best friend, a little girl called Animuk. Together they are trying to help a narwhal in trouble. The film is a fairy tale full of situational humour for children but it will entertain adults as well.

The New Species

A story of three friends who find a bone and to try to find out which animal it belonged to. The film builds upon a stylization for children and uses eye-catching colour combinations. With its attitude to the world of children, the film is reminiscent of the famous film by Jiří Brdečka Incorrectly Drawn Hen.

Fruits of Clouds

This poetic fairy tale is about crossing boundaries and having the courage to venture into the unknown. At a glade surrounded by a dark forest live creatures whose only food are seeds that turn into glowing fruits. The creatures are often hungry as the seeds fly to them only sporadically. But one of them gathers the courage to go into the forest.
