Examine the extensive collections of the North Bohemian Museum and its Crystal Tower with the world’s longest glass ladder. Do you like swimming in art? Dive into the Liberec Regional Gallery located in a former spa building and wring your swimsuit in the sink. You can also admire the high-tonnage beauty of locomotives and a snowcat from the popular comedy How to Pull Out a Whale’s Tooth in front of the Technical Museum. Inside, you will find many automobiles, Liberec trams and a renovated Praha RND bus, the only existing preserved model of this two-door bus in the world.
The science centre iQlandia invites you to take an exploratory stroll through the depths of the Earth, Humans, Elements and Science in the House all the way to the far corners of the universe. Almost 400 interactive exhibits wait for you to try them and simply fall in love with science. Water adventures seemingly taken from Jules Verne’s book await in the Aquapark of the Babylon Centre. In the same building, you can also find Lunapark, a traditional old-time fair and your little ones can enjoy some educational fun in iQpark and unwind in Funpark. In ZOO Liberec, the oldest zoo in the country, you will find out what animals with such mysterious names as Nyala, Margay, Mangabey, Urial and Sambar look like. Even more tongue-twisting names can be found among the Mesozoic rules of our planet displayed in the Liberec Plaza DinoPark. But watch out; even though the Dinopark is sheltered, it rains here quite frequently and some of the exhibits can come to life.

This year, the unique tower celebrates its 50th anniversary! Our ‘spaceship’ shines in the night like a lighthouse; during storms, it rips clouds and if you look closely, you can find a Martian nearby. That’s our Ještěd. Unique, just like the city below it.
