Miloš Tomić | Serbia | 2015 | 3 min

This fictitious trailer for the non-existent film Voice of Life is a brilliant example of a parody on mainstream films and their trailers. The author parodies several film genres but mainly romantic comedies and psychological dramas. During post-production, Tomić spiced up the trailer with animated features.

Amara Amor Amor

Miloš Tomić | Serbia | 2016 | 3 min

In his film from last year Amara amor amor, Milos Tomić once again balances on the border between experiment, live-action film and animation. The initial situation is a bit curious: a girl meets her boyfriend but all of a sudden the scene starts crowding with other girls who are here for the same reason. This unusual choreography is supplemented by pixilation and other stop-motion animated sequences which also play a role in the opening credits.

Plastic Bags

Miloš Tomić | Serbia | 2007

This film is an original, apparently random choreography of plastic bags floating in the wind above grass. Some may find this seemingly ordinary spectacle a late response to or a parody of the live action film American Beauty (1999).

Klopka za Pionira: Why Are You Looking at Me?!

Miloš Tomić | Serbia | 2016 | 3 min

In this slightly disturbing musical film, the author animated (among other things) pictures and photographs from period magazines. The film is based on the destruction of individual layers of images which reveal something new underneath them. It is again a visual mix of animation and live action.

Ridina Ahmetovska: Hair

Miloš Tomić | Czech Republic | 2005 | 3 min

For this short film accompanied by a pleasant melody, Milos Tomić chose a very unusual material to animate. A predominant part of the animation is made using human hair – not only strands, but also individual hairs in great detail. And so while a girl sleeps, her hair is brought to life.
