Anifilm Competition 2020 – You can still submit your animation!

Anifilm may be moving to a new location in 2020 – Liberec – but that doesn’t change the fact that everyone can enter its international competition. Choose one of the following categories and submit your work by 5th January 2020.

Short Film
Student Film
Music Video
Abstract and Non-narrative Animation
VR Film
Independent Computer Games
Czech Horizon
Feature & Short Film / Student Film / TV & On-line Series / Music Video / Commissioned Work
As you can see, the competition categories map the main authorial trends in animation including games. This year, we have added a new category for VR films. For domestic animation, the festival has a special national competition category Czech Horizon, but Czech animation can compete both in our international as well as national competitions. There is no fee for applicants.
Important notes for you:
- submit your work finished after January 1, 2019
- please register it by filling out this online form. If you have not submitted any work before, your first step will be registration.
- we would be honoured by accepting your application. You can complete it by January 5th, 2020 when deadline for submissions is set.
