Children at Anifilm
Anifilm has prepared a busy screening and accompanying programme for its youngest visitors. As part of this year’s festival theme titled Planet A, we have prepared screenings of short films with environmental focus. Our selection provides an insight into the issues of protection of our endangered environment. Section Taking Stock is appropriate for a wide audience and families with children as it includes the most interesting animated films released into Czech distribution during the last year or the first months of this. In our traditional Animation Workshops, children can make their own animated films under the tutelage of experienced professionals. In collaboration with Czech Television, children can also try creating film sounds and foley. There will be theatre performances for the youngest audiences who will surely be intrigued also by an exhibition of original puppets and film decorations from the new Czech feature film Even Mice Belong in Heaven.
