New Version of Online Videotheque ANIONT

Anion is a term we know from physics, but fans of animation know that ANIONT is an acronym for ANImation ONline Theater, the only European VOD platform focusing on animated film. This online videotheque contains short animated films you can watch in high definition and without ads. Anifilm and its partner festivals have been using Aniont to present authorial animation for the last 3 years. Its database includes mainly films from the extensive archives of the festivals’ international competitions but the portal also presents brand new titles.
The webpage comes in a new design and is now more responsive for mobile devices. The search engine has also been upgraded, so you can now search animated films much easier. The search engine enables the visitors to filter the search results according to various criteria. Apart from standard filters such as the title, the name of the director, country of origin or the year the film was made, you can now filter genres, animation techniques and running length. You can naturally combine the filters so you will easily get your desired search results.
The biggest change in the new version of Aniont is its premium zone. That zone includes latest releases that can usually be seen only at festivals. The viewers can stream them on a pay-per-view basis or pay for a subscription which gives them access to all the films in the premium zone for a chosen period of time. Given the current situation with virtually no channels for distribution of animated shorts, Aniont presents the most effective way how to bring the films closer to their audiences and simultaneously support their authors. During its existence, the videotheque was visited by thousands of fans of animated films from the whole world. They can now stream almost 300 films, music videos and non-narrative/abstract animations. The latest additions include award-winning titles from this year’s Anifilm and other masterpieces of contemporary animation screened only at specialized international festivals.
