Czech feature film Laika needs your help

Many of friends of animation are familiar with the work of Aurel Klimt, one of Czech Republic's most respected animators and directors. He is a follower of a proud and long-lasting tradition of Czech puppetry and animation and for almost ten years, he's been working tirelessly on something truly remarkable – a 90-minute hand-animated adventure of Laika, the first space explorer. The movie has been presented at our internation festival in Trebon.

Right now, Klimt's ambitious feature is finally nearing completion, but with one last major obstacle in the way – after the arduous and lengthy production, there is not enough funds for post-production. Which is why the authors turn to audience. Now everyone can help Aurel Klimt finish his decade's worth of hard work and send Laika onto the Earth's orbit through his Kickstarter campaign that we've just launched.
