Děti mezi reprákama

Děti mezi reprákama

Děti mezi reprákama is the new project by Domink Zezula (post-music) that tries to prove that country chords and post-rock moods can go hand in hand.
The concept is simple: The project tries to convey an experience as unforgettable as possible using only acoustic and electric guitars with no drums, electronic additions or keyboards. And with vocals, of course. Where there are no lyrics, there’s no choosing from out of nothing.

HRTL

HRTL

Leoš Hort alias HRTL is a top performer on modular synthesizers, a founder of Brno-based cassette record label Bükko Tapes and an active member of famous Bastl Instruments collective, which creates hand-made open-source music hardware.
HRTL’s music evolved from post-witch-house towards repetitive rhythms with rich melodic and sound elements, changing atmosphere and playful structures. Be it dirty house with 80’s feeling, fluorescent techno or dark, bubbly beats, HRTL never plays the same thing twice. Because as well as his live performances, his recordings are improvised and 100% hardware. In 2014, HRTL released a debut cassette Hydroxid, which is followed by his brand new album Dataloss. During the Andel music awards ceremony this year, HRTL has received the award for the best eletcronical performer of year.

 India

India

If you ever miss the band Black Tar Jesus, maybe you could chill out at one of India’s shows. The band was founded when Tomáš Kopáček moved to the enlightened city of České Budějovice, and its line-up also includes Ostrava patriot Bejbiš and bassmaster Sokolíček. What can you expect from them? A mood reminiscent of Led Zeppelin’s Presence, krautrock-structured songs and occasional ventures into noise-rock territories.

Červen

Červen

Červen’s music could perhaps be labelled as post-rock, math-pop and noise-rock. During its short term of existence the band has performed at festivals such as Creepy Teepee, Žižkovská noc and Fluff Fest and played a two-hour set accompanying a silent film at the Letní filmová škola film festival in Uherské Hradiště.
Their debut single Oktavín is regularly played by Radio Wave and Radio 1. The website Aktuálně.cz has listed Červen among the top new artists of 2015. The band‘s musical playfulness in combination with its raw noise is appealing to more and more fans abroad.

Planety

Planety

Their music is the music you hear from behind the curtain of this world – from a place where summer light spreads into every nook and cranny of a messy room. Kamil Lhoták’s dusty periphery full of small stories with echoes forming legends and myths. When you step between the Planets, you enter a magical whirlwind – hold on to your hats and scarfs, our destination is the Orient bar: eternal, dreamt-up and always within reach. All you need to do is pull the lady of your dreams closer and embrace her.

Mutanti Hledaj Východisko

Mutanti Hledaj Východisko

One is a willing and believable shape-shifter who mostly changes into people you would certainly not like to meet. And the other builds a strong post-apocalyptic musical background for this twisted cabaret. Jan Vejražka (rap, lyrics) and Jiří Konvalinka (music) are bringing their notorious and spine-chillingly entertaining show back to Třeboň.

Dizzcock + VJ Kolouch

Dizzcock + VJ Kolouch

Dizzcock is a Prague producer and beatmaker and also a member of the post-rave band Lightning Glove. His work is characterised by a dark and cold beat composition driven by prominent sub-basses. It can be labelled as a crossover between British grime, juke and voice samples reminiscent of his admiration for American hip-hop.
His first long-play album, Elegy of Unsung Heroes, won the 2015 Vinyl Award for album of the year. At his concerts, Dizzcock is accompanied by VJ Kolouch whose visuals multiply the dystopic and socially-critical background of the show.
