Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted
Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted
Eric Darnell, Tom McGrath, Conrad Vernon | USA | 2012 | 92 min
With the help of raw chimpanzee strength, the clever penguins managed to fix the airplane in which our protagonists crashed while flying from Madagascar to Africa, and so they have gone to have some fun at a casino in Monte Carlo. But they left Alex the Lion, Gloria the Hippopotamus, Marty the Zebra and Melman the Giraffe behind, and so the foursome is forced them to swim the Mediterranean Sea. They need to find the penguins, because without them they have no chance of returning home. The appearance of wild (though friendly) animals at the epicentre of the European entertainment world understandably causes a ruckus, and Captain Chantal DuBois is charged with capturing the animals. She is an elite animal control officer, and her work is her life. The idea of adding the capture of a giraffe, lion, zebra and hippo to her résumé causes her to expend almost superhuman efforts to catch them at all costs.
ParaNorman
ParaNorman
Sam Fell, Chris Butler | USA | 2012 | 93 min
Our fearless hero is called Norman, he is 11 years old, he loves horror movies, and he talks with his dead grandmother. Norman has a special power, call it a sixth sense: He sees ghosts and knows how to get along with them, which might come in handy during this very dangerous situation. But before Norman can lead the local resistance against the living dead, he must endure all the trials and tribulations suffered by most children who are outsiders with special powers. His parents don’t understand him, his older sister looks down her nose at him, his classmates bully or at best ignore him, and the only person he gets along with is the fat boy Neil, who doesn’t have any friends either. He also gets along with most of the local ghosts, but they don’t count. Norman’s life takes an unexpected turn when his strange uncle reveals that the town will soon be afflicted by an ancient curse.
